While my time at Valerie had some positive aspects, management was one of the biggest challenges. There was a lack of clear communication, inconsistent leadership, and minimal support for staff, making it difficult to maintain efficiency and morale.

Scheduling was often disorganized, last-minute changes were common, and there was little regard for staff well-being or work-life balance. Feedback and concerns from employees were rarely acknowledged or addressed, leading to a high turnover rate and low team morale.

Despite working with great colleagues and enjoying the guest interactions, poor management ultimately made it an unsustainable work environment. Improvements in leadership, training, and employee support would make a significant difference.
