Job Description

About Us:

WORTH is a grassroots non-profit society advancing women in Canada’s recreation, tourism, and hospitality industries. We educate, elevate, and engage through mentorship, networking, and professional development—helping self-identifying women lead, influence, and shape a more equitable future for the sector.

Job Overview:

As our Marketing and Partnerships Manager, you will play a key role in growing WORTH’s visibility, supporting our events, and engaging our community and partners. You’ll work closely with the Executive Director and a small, collaborative team, with the opportunity to take ownership and see your work directly drive impact.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing and Communications (Primary)

Lead and execute marketing efforts that grow awareness, engagement, and event participation.

  • Plan and deliver integrated campaigns for WORTH and flagship events

  • Manage day-to-day channels (email, website, LinkedIn, Instagram)

  • Own the content calendar, including newsletters and event communications

  • Create marketing and fundraising materials

  • Build and manage email journeys (events, subscribers, partners)

  • Maintain a consistent, values-aligned brand presence

Success in this area looks like growing audience and engagement, and marketing channels that convert interest into event participation and community involvement.

Partnerships & Stewardship (Secondary)

WORTH’s partnerships are not transactional, they are relationships rooted in shared values and long-term change.

You will help build, steward, and deepen those relationships.

  • Deliver sponsor benefits for key events

  • Maintain regular communication with partners

  • Develop pitch decks, reports, and impact updates

  • Identify co-branded storytelling opportunities

  • Support partnership pipeline tracking with the Executive Director

Success in this area means partners feel seen, valued, and proud to invest in WORTH, helping deepen engagement year over year.

Data & Performance (Supporting)

You are comfortable working behind the scenes to make growth sustainable.

  • Manage CRM data and integration with marketing tools

  • Track campaign and engagement performance

  • Maintain simple, actionable reporting dashboards

  • Organize and maintain a central content and asset library

Success in this area requires reliable data, clear visibility into performance, and systems that support smarter decision-making.

What You Will Not Own

To ensure focus and sustainability in a small team, this role is not responsible for:

  • Leading major sponsorship sales or closing large partnership deals

  • Building complex analytics infrastructure or advanced data systems

  • Executing all creative production independently (contractor/agency/volunteer support is available)

Qualifications:

We’re looking for a strong generalist with experience in marketing and an interest in partnerships.

You Bring:

●  Experience in digital marketing (content, email, social, campaigns)

●  Strong writing and storytelling skills

●  Graphic design skills to create compelling visual content

●  Comfort working with data, CRM systems, and performance tracking

●  Experience supporting partnerships, sponsorships, or stakeholder relationships (an asset)

●  Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a small team

●  Technical proficiency in software such as Canva, Squarespace, Keela, SurveyMonkey, Google Analytics, Google Workspace.

What We Offer:

  • Vacation: 15 days paid vacation + paid Winter Break (Dec 24–Jan 1)

  • Flexibility: Flexible hours and remote work from home or other approved location

  • Benefits: Extended health coverage

  • Growth: Professional development and conference funding

  • Equipment: Laptop and technology stipend provided

Requirements:

  • Work Permit
