Skye Avenue Kitchen & Lounge is an upscale dining destination recognized for elevated comfort cuisine, refined cocktails, and a premium guest experience. We are seeking a Part-Time Garde Manger to support our culinary team with high-quality cold-station execution and consistent plate presentation.
Position Overview
The Garde Manger is responsible for preparing and executing cold dishes with precision, efficiency, and attention to detail. This role is ideal for a motivated culinary professional who takes pride in organization, cleanliness, and consistent execution in a fast-paced, high-end kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and execute all cold-station items, including salads, appetizers, cold plates, and garnishes
• Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met for every dish
• Maintain station organization, cleanliness, and food safety compliance
• Complete daily prep lists efficiently and accurately
• Properly store, label, and rotate products according to food safety standards
• Communicate effectively with the culinary and service teams during service
Qualifications & Experience
• Previous experience as a Garde Manger or Cold Line Cook preferred
• Solid knife skills and understanding of cold-station techniques
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen best practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Culinary training is an asset but not required
Schedule & Compensation
• Part-time hours (evenings and weekends may be required)
