SIMONA is a vibrant, modern Italian restaurant in the heart of Toronto, known for handcrafted cocktails, house-made fresh pizza dough, pastas, and sauces, exceptional wine service, and warm, energetic hospitality. We are currently seeking a Host to join our front-of-house team on a full-time or part-time basis.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous hosting or restaurant experience And Open Table is an asset
Friendly, polished, and professional demeanor
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented attitude with a guest-first mindset
Availability for days, evenings, and weekends
Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming first impression
Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
Communicate clearly with servers and management to ensure smooth seating flow
Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries
Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entrance area
Support the front-of-house team as needed during service
