Located in the Century Plaza Hotel, we are the perfect choice for a refined dining experience. We specialize in Italian cuisine and steak, offering a wide variety of dishes that will satisfy even the most discerning palate...using only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients to create dishes that are both delicious and visually stunning. We’re currently looking for experienced, dynamic bartenders to join our team — individuals who are passionate about hospitality, enjoy creating memorable moments, and thrive in a fast-paced, upscale environment. What You'll Be Doing: - Greet guests and take beverage and light food orders with professionalism and warmth - Prepare and serve classic and signature cocktails, wine, and spirits - Use proper ingredients, measurements, and presentation techniques - Recommend drink pairings and promote specials or features - Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to needs promptly - Maintain a clean, organized bar and service area throughout the shift - Assist with inventory, restocking, and prep as needed - Handle cash, card payments, and daily bar balancing - Ensure compliance with Serving It Right and food safety standards - Collaborate with the service and kitchen teams for seamless guest experiences - Occasionally develop and test new cocktail recipes What We're Looking For: - Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in an upscale or high-volume restaurant - Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and bar operations - Friendly, professional demeanor and strong communication skills - Serving It Right certification (required) - Food Safe Level 1 (preferred) - Experience with Micros POS (preferred) - Reliable and organized, with the ability to multitask under pressure - Available for evening and weekend shifts - Able to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs during shifts - Legally eligible to work in Canada - Fluent in English
