Job Description

El Guapo is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and passionate Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. We are a busy Mexican restaurant in downtown Vancouver focused on delivering high-quality food, consistency, and great guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
• Set up and stock stations before service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist with inventory, prep, and receiving deliveries
• Work efficiently during busy lunch, dinner, and late-night services
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff

Requirements

• Previous line cook experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Food Safe certification is an asset
