About Us
We are a premier jungle-inspired supper club and craft cocktail destination located in the heart of Gastown. Known for our moody lighting, intimate vibe, and curated music experiences, we seamlessly transition from sophisticated romantic dinners to high-energy late-night weekend vibes with live DJs. We are looking for a visionary Bar Manager to lead our beverage program and champion an exceptional guest experience.
The Role
As our Bar Manager, you aren't just managing inventory—you are the architect of our beverage culture. You will oversee daily front-of-house bar operations, mentor a passionate team of bartenders, and collaborate on a cutting-edge cocktail program that keeps people talking.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development: Recruit, train, schedule, and inspire a high-performing bar team. Foster a culture of hospitality, speed, and precision.
Beverage Program Innovation: Curate and evolve our craft cocktail, wine, and spirits menus to align with our premium, high-energy brand.
Operations & Financials: Manage inventory, ordering, cost controls (pour costs), and vendor relationships to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
Atmosphere & Quality Control: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and liquor laws (Serving It Right certification required). Maintain an immaculate, well-organized bar.
Guest Engagement: Bring high energy to the floor, building relationships with regulars and elevating the overall vibe of the room.
What We Are Looking For
The Experience: A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a upscale, high-volume bar, lounge, or nightclub setting.
The Craft: Deep knowledge of mixology, spirits, classic cocktails, and wine pairings. You stay ahead of industry trends.
The Mindset: A natural leader who leads by example, stays calm under high-pressure weekend rushes, and possesses sharp business acumen.
The Flexibility: Availability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the nature of a premium supper club.
