Responsibilities
Manage the reservation system and handle calls for reservations and take-out orders
Greet guests and assign tables efficiently to ensure smooth service and table turnover
Operate the POS system accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and restaurant areas
Work closely with the service team to ensure an excellent guest experience
Communicate any guest concerns or issues to management promptly
Assist with opening and closing duties and other tasks assigned by management
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of hosting experience (fine dining experience is an asset)
Valid Serving It Right certification
Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
Weekend availability is required
Basic knowledge of food and beverage menus is an asset
Canadian citizens or permanent residents preferred; work permit holders must be available for at least 6 months
