The Garden is a café and wine bar in Vancouver’s historic Strathcona neighbourhood, rooted in connection—to our community, our partners, ourselves, and the present moment. We’re creating a space where people can slow down, share something thoughtful, and enjoy meaningful experiences through food, coffee, and wine.
We’re looking for a Baker / Prep Cook to join our team—someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and takes pride in simple, well-executed food and baked goods.

The Garden is located in the historical Strathcona neighbourhood; our space built upon the unceded and traditional territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
The idea and concept for The Garden evolved over many years before we actually set shovel to dirt. It is rooted in connection through shared values. Connection to our community, our partners, ourselves and to the present moment.
Our hope is to create a space that resonates with many different people for many different reasons. A space to be inspired, feel relaxed, learn something new, eat and drink something delicious, meet an old or new friend. The meaningful stuff.
