The job of a bartender involves preparing and serving drinks to customers, maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages: Bartenders must be able to mix, pour, and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits. They must also be able to create their own drink recipes and recommend drinks to customers based on their preferences.

Maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar: Bartenders are responsible for keeping the bar area clean and organized, including stocking the bar with ice, garnishes, and other necessary supplies.

Providing excellent customer service: Bartenders must be friendly, outgoing, and able to engage with customers, making them feel welcome and comfortable.They must also be able to handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.

Operating the POS system: Bartenders must be able to process customer payments, manage cash and credit card transactions, and submit orders.

Checking IDs and enforcing age restrictions: Bartenders must be able to check customers' IDs to verify their age and ensure that they are of legal drinking age. They must also be aware of and enforce any age restrictions or other regulations related to alcohol service.

Collaborating with other staff members: working with servers and hostess, to ensure that customers receive excellent service and that the establishment runs smoothly. It is also expected that the bartender will serve food and take tables to help with the team operation.
