C|Prime Modern Italian Steak and Wine in Downtown Vancouver has an immediate need for a Restaurant Manager. Would consider a contract position.
As the Restaurant Manager, you will monitor all aspects of the day-to-day operations of a full-service dining room. This includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Room Service, Banquets, and Special Events.
The Restaurant Manager would also have full responsibility of all floor staff.
Managing labour and cost controls, recruiting, team building, maintaining cleanliness and presentation are also key components of this role.
The successful candidate will have several years of hospitality experience, with a clear understanding of hotel and food service operations.

Requirements:
To be considered for this position, the right candidate should fulfill the following criteria:
-Minimum 4 years front-of-house senior management in the restaurant industry in high volume, upscale establishments. This includes the ability and willingness to perform all front-of-house activities efficiently and professionally;
-Be polished and professional in presentation, communication, coaching, and attitude;
-Excellent wine knowledge with a clear understanding of beer and spirits trends;
-Be willing and able to support the entire front-of-house team in all capacities and in all day-to-day activities;
-Be able to deliver excellent customer service to our clients and guests;
-Have a clear understanding of restaurant financial aspects, being capable of delivering budgeted targets, and be able to justify a profit & loss statement;
-Have flexibility in availability, as mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays are all required;
-Excellent Oracle Simphony POS knowledge (and/or similar point of sale systems), payment processing systems, and effective working experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as online reservation systems such as Open Table;
-Must have Serving It Right and Food Safe certification, and legally entitled to work in Canada.
