We are seeking a dynamic and organized Event Coordinator & Lead Host to join our team. The Events Coordinator & Lead Host is responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of events at one of our prestigious restaurants, as well as supporting the sales process through client management, quoting and contracting. This position requires strong organizational skills, exceptional communication, and a commitment to delivering luxury experiences consistent with the standards and reputation of restaurants.

Event Coordinator Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of corporate functions and social events, from initial inquiry through on-site execution and post-event follow-up.
• Respond to event inquiries promptly and professionally, conduct site tours and client meetings, and gather detailed information to understand event requirements.
• Prepare and present customized proposals, quotes, and contracts, negotiating pricing and terms in alignment with company policies and revenue goals.
• Plan, organize, and finalize all event details, ensuring accuracy in Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), floor plans, and supporting documentation.
• Work closely with clients to confirm logistics, ensure compliance with restaurant standards, and coordinate tastings as required in collaboration with the culinary team.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients.
• Communicate proactively with culinary, food and beverage, and operations teams to ensure smooth coordination and execution.
• Maintain accurate records within the event management system, issue invoices, and ensure final payments are received prior to event execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly and professionally to maintain client satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships while representing the Liberty Entertainment Group brand with professionalism.
• Attend and participate in operations and departmental meetings as required.

Lead Host Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival, confirm reservations, and escort them to their tables in a warm and professional manner.
• Manage reservations and waitlists effectively to ensure smooth guest flow.
• Communicate table availability and service updates with servers, bartenders, and leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked host stand at all times.
• Assist with private event check-ins and coordinate front-of-house flow during arrivals.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, escalating matters to management when necessary.
• Maintain a polished appearance and uphold luxury hospitality standards at all times.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Hospitality or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of hospitality or event coordination experience, ideally in a luxury or high-volume setting.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Sales-focused with the ability to meet revenue goals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Caterease experience is an asset.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Professional, reliable, and client-focused.
