JOB SUMMARY:
Working out of our Head Office and traveling to our new and current Toptable locations within BC, the Maintenance Worker will be involved in the development and construction of Toptable Group’s new and existing restaurant portfolio. They will ensure that the buildings are maintained to the highest standard and are a positive representation of the company. General duties and responsibilities will include basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other routine repairs. The incumbent will also contribute to the entire new construction project lifecycle from conceptual design through to the end of construction; collaborating with a wide range of internal and external teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate the activities of the designers, contractors, building operations, and landlords to ensure timely information is exchanged to complete action items
Perform routine maintenance activities such as light replacements, painting, drywall, minor plumbing, other repairs, etc.
Manage general administrative and record keeping functions to ensure project information is readily available, maintaining accurate and relevant project records and reports
Source specialty materials and products as required
Proactively provide all relevant project information to the team; keeping key stakeholders informed about project status and issues that may impact project success
Travel to and from project for site visits, construction meetings, updates, etc.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in a maintenance role
Basic knowledge of plumbing, and electrical
Valid Class 5 Drivers License
Knowledge of general building systems and equipment
Experience with painting and carpentry
Self-motivated with a positive and proactive attitude and a high attention to detail
Willing to take direction and problem solve
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
