Carlino, a Friulian-inspired, Michelin-recommended Italian restaurant located within the Hyatt, is seeking a General Manager to lead our team. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about exceptional food and service, thrives on mentoring and inspiring others, and is excited to elevate every guest experience.
Drawing inspiration from the Friuli region of Italy, our menu celebrates the culinary parallels between Northern Italy and British Columbia, highlighting the richness of our mountains, forests, lakes, and coastal waters.
You have:
- 3+ years of restaurant General Manager experience
- Passionate about hospitality, the guest experience and leading a team
- Calm, kind, and confident when interacting with guests and staff
- Hotel experience considered an asset
- Experience with ordering and inventory management
- Experience with scheduling and payroll
- Labour and Cost of goods control experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Serving it Right, Foodsafe Level 1, and First Aid Certification required
