This concept will offer a unique experience and we are seeking talented and passionate hospitality individuals to join our opening team.
Summary of Position:
Follow the Three Kingdoms Hospitality standards to execute efficient guest service, beverage preparation and bar
cleanliness. Provide timely, accurate and genuinely friendly service while preparing and preparing the highest quality
beverages for our customers. Each bartender’s primary objective is to strive to understand our customer's needs and
wants to create a desire not just to return but to be an ambassador for the venue moving forward.
Duties & Responsibilities:
including but not limited to:
● Take beverage orders from guests.
● Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks consistent with the venue’s recipes and high standards.
● A passion for comprehensive cocktails and an understanding of the process used in making cocktails.
● A desire for continuing education and self-study surrounding cocktails, spirits and bartending.
● Learn the names and personally recognize our regular guests.
● Technically proficient to operate hardware including iPads, POS systems, payment terminals, etc.
● Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change (if applicable).
● Wash and sterilize glassware.
● Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and
promotion of beverages.
● Must always be a team player and an ambassador for the company.
● Clear and reset tables.
● Present drink and food menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding our beverage and
food items.
● Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the venue including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
● Perform daily cleaning initiatives as outlined in the bar manual.
● Receive and serve food and drink orders to guests.
● Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to the Bar Manager and/or Management team.
● Assist with the restocking and replenishment of inventory and supplies.
● Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the venue as directed by the
Management team.
● Any other duties as assigned by the employer.
● Have a strong commitment to self-development.
● Develop cocktails and have creative input for programming in line with the brand and its philosophy.
Qualifications
● Be the age of majority in the province of employment.
● Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to handle tense situations with
coworkers and customers calmly and rationally.
● Be observant and thorough.
● Possess a valid SIN or Working Visa.
● Possess a valid Serving it Right certificate or equivalent.
● Have working knowledge of our beer, wine, liquor and common drink recipes.
● Must have the ability to handle money and operate a cash till.
● Ability to meet physical and scheduling demands of the position, including, walking, standing, or lifting heavy
items for extended periods and working nights, weekends, and holidays.
