We are currently looking for SERVERS to join our dynamic team at Bow & Stern located in ABBOTSFORD
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional dining experience. You will be the face of the restaurant, bringing our culinary vision to life and delivering outstanding hospitality. Your job will be to make every guest feel welcomed and well cared for, ensuring they have a memorable and enjoyable visit.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our menus, to enhance guest interactions and satisfaction.
-Prepare the dining area for service, ensuring the room is set to welcome guests with our standard of excellence.
-Check and perfect all details, from table setting to the ambiance, to guarantee a successful service.
- Provide attentive and personalized service.
- Actively engage in learning sessions and team briefings to deepen your understanding of our restaurant's ethos.
- Execute end-of-service duties with efficiency, ensuring the dining area is reset, cleaned, and ready for the following service.
- Adhere to all cleaning protocols, maintaining an immaculate dining environment.
- Uphold the restaurant's high standards of service, seamlessly integrating health and safety practices into daily responsibilities.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- minimum of 2 years of experience as a server in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Serving It Right certification, demonstrating a thorough understanding of responsible alcohol service.
- Additional certifications in liquor, wine (WSET), and food service are advantageous.
- Extensive knowledge of wine, cocktails, and culinary offerings.
- A positive and energetic demeanor with a genuine passion for food and beverage.
- Proven ability to swiftly address and fulfill guest needs with a strong sense of urgency.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, reflecting professionalism and courtesy.
