Assist in menu preparation and contribute to the development of new dishes and daily specials.
Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
Assist with inventory control, food storage, and receiving deliveries of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations during busy service periods.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Prepare Italian-inspired dishes and assist in the preparation and cooking of artisanal pizzas, including dough preparation and oven cooking techniques.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or professional kitchen environment
Knowledge of general cooking techniques and kitchen operations
Experience with Italian cuisine and pizza preparation is considered an asset
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
