Job Description

Greeting customers warmly when they arrive
Managing seating arrangements and waitlists
Escorting guests to tables
Answering phone calls and taking reservations
Handling customer inquiries politely
Coordinating table rotation between servers
Keeping the entrance and dining area organized
Assisting servers during busy game nights or events
Communicating with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service
Providing a friendly first impression for guests
Helping maintain cleanliness and customer flow
Managing large group bookings or sports-event crowds
Qualification-
High school diploma or currently studying (often preferred, not always mandatory)
Basic English communication skills
Customer service skills
Friendly and professional attitude
Ability to stand for long hours
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Teamwork and multitasking skills
Basic phone and reservation handling skills
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience (preferred but many pubs hire beginners too).
