Promotions & Marketing Director:

We are looking for an experienced, outgoing, and creative Promotions & Marketing Director to help drive sales, build brand energy, increase guest engagement, and strengthen our presence in the market.

This role is ideal for someone who truly understands hospitality, nightlife, events, social media, local marketing, and current market trends. We are looking for a strong people person who knows how to create excitement, build relationships, bring guests through the door, and work closely with operations to turn ideas into measurable results.

This is not just a posting-and-planning role. We need someone who understands the guest, the room, the market, the competition, and what motivates people to choose one venue over another.

The Role:

The Promotions & Marketing Director will lead marketing, promotions, events, brand awareness, and guest engagement across our venues.

You will work closely with ownership, the Director of Operations, General Managers,
kitchen/bar leadership, and event teams to develop campaigns that increase sales, support the brand, and create memorable guest experiences.

The right person will be creative, organized, confident, socially aware, and able to balance fun ideas with clear business results.

Key Responsibilities

 Create and execute marketing and promotional strategies for each venue
 Develop events, theme nights, campaigns, contests, and guest engagement initiatives
 Monitor market trends, local competition, nightlife trends, food and beverage trends, and social media trends
 Build relationships with guests, local businesses, influencers, community groups,
performers, DJs, promoters, and partners
 Work with managers to identify slow nights and develop targeted promotions to increase traffic
 Oversee social media content, posting schedules, event promotion, and brand messaging
 Ensure marketing reflects each venue’s personality, target demographic, and guest
experience
 Track the success of promotions, campaigns, and events
 Review sales results tied to marketing initiatives and adjust accordingly
 Support photography, video, reels, stories, posters, email campaigns, and digital
advertising

 Maintain brand consistency across all platforms and locations
 Attend key events and busy nights to understand guest response and improve future
promotions
 Work with operations to ensure promotions are realistic, profitable, and properly executed
Plan and execute weekly and monthly promotional calendars

 Experienced in hospitality, nightlife, restaurants, pubs, bars, entertainment, or event
marketing

 Aware of current social media, hospitality, nightlife, entertainment, and consumer trends
 Creative but also results-driven
 Organized and able to manage multiple campaigns and events at once
 Comfortable working evenings and weekends when events or business needs require it
 Strong communicator who can work well with managers, staff, performers, promoters,
and ownership
 Able to turn ideas into action and action into measurable sales results
 Comfortable reviewing sales data, guest counts, engagement, and campaign performance

Experience Required

 Minimum 3+ years of marketing, promotions, events, or hospitality-related experience
 Experience in restaurants, bars, nightlife, entertainment, or high-volume hospitality
strongly preferred
 Strong understanding of social media platforms, content strategy, and digital engagement
 Experience planning and executing events or promotional campaigns
 Ability to understand local market trends and guest demographics
 Strong communication and relationship-building skills
 Graphic design, photography, video, or content creation experience is an asset
 Experience working with DJs, entertainers, influencers, local partners, or promoters is an asset
