BlueBlood Steakhouse at Casa Loma is actively looking for reliable, efficient and highly motivated individuals to hire as Senior Cooks to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment according to restaurants standardized recipes
- Knows and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
- Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigeration equipment.
- Prepares item for broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing or other cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning and/or marinating.
- Checks supplies and prep lists and ensures all items are prepped in a timely fashion.
Inventories menu items, stocks and preps area with needed supplies.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a high volume, fast paced restaurant
- Demonstrates the ability to follow directions and meet deadlines
- Ability to safely use food service equipment such as grills, fryers, stoves, knives
- Possess a food handler's certificate
- Must be able to work legally in Canada
