Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence: Oversee daily floor operations, ensuring every detail—from the candlelight to the acoustics—aligns with Bar Filo’s high-art aesthetic.
Elevated Service Standards: Implement and refine service protocols that blend European warmth with the high-efficiency standards of premier global hospitality.
Team Leadership & Culture: Recruit, train, and inspire a diverse FOH team. You will be the culture-carrier, fostering an environment of "polished hospitality."
Guest Relations: Act as the face of the restaurant, building lasting relationships with our patrons and handling high-pressure situations with effortless poise.
Financial Stewardship: Assist the GM in managing P&L, labor costs, and inventory, applying a data-driven approach to optimize restaurant profitability.
Qualifications
Professional Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of management experience in high-volume, high-end dining or luxury hospitality.
US Hospitality Background: Experience working in the United States hospitality industry is highly preferred. We value candidates who bring a deep understanding of American service standards—specifically the "proactive hospitality" model, rigorous operational discipline, and a strong sense of urgency.
Cultural Alignment: You possess a natural affinity for art, history, or music. You understand that Bar Filo is a theater of the senses, not just a dining room.
The "Stage Presence": Exceptional communication skills. You are comfortable navigating a room filled with live music and sophisticated guests, maintaining a "calm in the storm" demeanor.
Business Acumen: Strong proficiency in modern POS systems, reservation platforms (like OpenTable/Resy), and back-office management.
Language: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Mandarin or a European language is a significant plus.
