Blueblood Steakhouse is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic General Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a restaurant, ensures guest satisfaction, profitability, and operational excellence in meeting corporate standards at all times.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the Head Chef to lead team members to ensure a smooth operation of the restaurant
Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service with guests to understand their needs and exceed their expectations
Contribute to the success of the restaurant by managing operations according to company’s standards
Consistently review restaurant operations to identify any problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement
Provide coaching and feedback to team members and assess performance on an ongoing basis
Lead a positive team environment by recognizing and reinforcing individual and team accomplishments
Preparing tip outs, cash floats and cashing out servers and bartenders
Follow inventory control procedures and guidelines
Establish and delegate work duties to staff members as needed
Manage biweekly payroll reports and labour cost
Hiring, training and managing front of house staff
Other related duties assigned by the management
Qualifications:
At least 4 years of experience in a managerial/leadership role
Experience as a General Manager is an asset
Extensive knowledge of liquors and wines is an asset
Strong customer service background and excellent communication skills
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
Ability to train and delegate
Extensive knowledge of liquors and wines
Ability to work flexible hours, days, weekends shifts including holidays
Must be legally able to work in Canada
