We're looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead the culinary team at our downtown Toronto flagship location. This is an opportunity for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys mentoring others, and takes pride in delivering consistently high-quality food while operating an efficient and profitable kitchen.

What You'll Do
As Head Chef, you'll oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including:

Leading, coaching, and developing the kitchen team

Maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation

Managing scheduling, labour productivity, and staffing levels

Controlling food and beverage cost of goods sold (COGS)

Ordering, inventory management, and vendor relationships
-
Maintaining food safety and health regulation compliance
-
Creating seasonal features and menu enhancements

Working closely with venue leadership to support private events, corporate functions, and promotions

Building systems that promote efficiency, cleanliness, and teamwork

Ensuring the kitchen is organized, prepared, and ready for service every day
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or Senior Sous Chef ready for the next step

Strong leadership and coaching skills

Experience managing food costs, inventory, and labour budgets

Excellent organizational and communication skills

A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences

The ability to remain calm and organized during busy service periods

A commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and operational excellence
Qualifications

Several years of progressive culinary leadership experience

Food Handler Certification (required)

Strong understanding of Ontario food safety regulations

Experience with inventory management and scheduling

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
