We are currently seeking a Sous Chef to lead our kitchen team in a high-volume, 140 seat Italian restaurant in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood of Vancouver. Experience in Italian cooking (pizza, pasta, antipasti) is an asset but strong culinary leaders with clear communication skills and a service driven mentality will be priortized. We are seeking someone who will help our team learn and grow while prioritizing service standards and eductation. The Sous Chef will work directly with the Exectuive Chef and the Owner to ensure service standards, cleanliness standards, and food quality are being maintained.

COMPENSATION: Graduated wage system inclusive of tips equals minimum $25/hour, 45 hour scheduled salary means minimum annual earnings of $58k. This will increase as a direct correlation to sales with opportunities for addtional earning. This role will ideally develop as the business grows and could lead to head chef opportunities.
