We are currently looking for an EXPERIENCED BARTENDER to join our dynamic team at COAST Restaurant on Alberni Street. CATCH. COOK. EAT. A true west coast dining experience.
Candidates should not only be able to craft perfect cocktails but will also provide outstanding service in our big bar section and be a helpful member to our dynamic Bar Team. MAIN DUTIES:
· Prepare beverages, accurately to recipe specs, and mix and match ingredients in innovative ways
· Answer questions about food, beverages, wine and other restaurant functions and services
· Be responsive and helpful about off-menu items such as classic cocktails and expand personal knowledge in this area as much as possible
· Accurately ring in orders, adding modifiers where needed
· Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience and repeat customers
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
. Solid wine knowledge a must!
· 3+ years minimum experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment
· Serving it Right certified and understanding of responsible alcohol service
· Developing cocktail knowledge
· Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks; keen desire to expand knowledge and keep on trends
· Possess strong communication skills and a genuine personality
· A positive, energetic outlook with a passion for hospitality
· Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
· Highly organized with acute attention to detail
· Ability to carry and lift up to 25-40lb
· Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays, if required
