Park Royal South is our newest addition: Artigiano Grand Cafe - savour, indulge, and elevate every moment around the table. We are seeking Full Time and Part Time Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to join our new Park Royal Grand Café, located in West Vancouver. Must be available weekends and some weekdays.

- Passionate about learning all the aspects of a cooking from scratch kitchen, using only the best imported and local ingredients
- Food safe experience an asset, must have general knowledge of food safe practise and hygiene
- Excited about learning to cook in a team environment with room to grow within the kitchen brigade
- Must have a can do attitude and strong communication skills
- Strong multitasking abilities and a willingness to learn
- High sense of urgency Responsibilities
- Capable of maintaining par levels, mise en place, and leading by example
- Prepping ingredients, while maintaining a clean & organized work environment
- Prepare high-quality dishes with speed, accuracy, and pride
- Bring energy, consistency, and care to every dish
- Making various sauces, meat and fish butchery, dry aging and charcuterie
- Adhere to recipes and presentation expectations
- Strong attention to detail, with allergy, dietary restrictions, and modifications in mind
Requirements
- Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Capacity for walking and standing for long periods of time
- Food Safe Certifications preferred
- Knowledge in pastry an asset
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment
