We are currently seeking highly skilled, experienced, hard-working and enthusiastic Café Baristas to join our team and start immediately.
Reporting to the Café Manager, the Café Baristas will assist with various aspects of the day to day operations of beyond coffee.
Ideal candidates will have:
-At least 1 years' experience preparing and serving coffee and food in a high end hospitality environment;
-Ability to perform daily cafe opening or closing;
-Solid understanding of espresso and drip coffee methods;
-Ability to prepare and serve ready-to-eat sandwiches and wraps upon request;
-Responsibility for using the point of sale (POS) system, input orders and receive payments;
-Ability to clean, restock inventory, empty trash and sanitize equipment and utensils;
-Professional appearance and excellent communication skills;
-Ability to thrive when faced with new challenges, and keep calm under pressure;
-Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to multitask;
-Ability to be well groomed and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in the English language;
-Open availability: some shifts starting as early as 6:30AM and others ending as late as 7:30PM, seven days a week. Also willing to work some shifts at short notice if necessary;
-Punctuality and be a reliable team player with strong interpersonal skills.
**Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
**Must have Food Safe Level 1 certification, and Serving It Right.
