Position Summary

Our service mission at Hollyburn Country Club is to provide our Members with an unparalleled dining and social experience in a premium casual setting. By delivering exceptional hospitality and attentive service, we aim to create memorable moments that our Members are proud to share with family and friends. As a Bartender, you will play a key role in this mission, crafting high-quality beverages and ensuring each guest enjoys outstanding service that reflects Hollyburn's commitment to excellence.

Position Responsibilities                 

• Greet Members and guests warmly, ensuring prompt & courteous attention to their needs.
• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and consistency.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the Club’s menu offerings, including food, wine, beer, and cocktails, to make informed recommendations and upsell products.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area assist with restocking, and track sales accurately through the Club’s point-of-sale system.
• Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Adhere to all relevant laws and Club policies regarding the sale and service of alcohol.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, are an asset as thihs is a team-oriented environment.

Skills & Qualifications 

• Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale environment.
• Valid Serving It Right (required)
• Sound knowledge of classic cocktails.
• Solid wine knowledge of WSET levels are considered an asses.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation is an asset, as public transit to the Club’s location is limited.
• Candidates must agree to complete a Police Information Check (fully reimbursed upon hire).

Working Conditions:

• This position operates 100% on-site
• Regular evenings or weekend work will be required
