Main Purpose of the Job: Responsible for delivering the food from the kitchen to a customer in the restaurant. They are responsible for ensuring that each customer receives the correct order. A few of the main duties are double checking orders, matching the food ticket to the customer, and bussing tables. They also have to answer any questions a customer may have.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Interact with customers, serve food and drinks
Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
Restock and replenish bar/kitchen inventory and supplies
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Ability to keep the bar/kitchen organized, stocked and clean.

Working Conditions:
Cold conditions: Keg fridge, beer fridge, cold room & patio in the winter months.
Hot conditions: Patio during the summer months
Chemicals: We have a range of chemicals and will train you to use them safely and effectively.
Schedule: Must be able to work a range of shifts from, early morning starts(7am) to late night finishes (3/4am)
Physical Requirements
Strength Guidelines
Will be required to lift/push/pull & carry heavy items. E.g Case of beer/wine/food/roll a 58 liter keg. Training will be provided
Be able to carrying a tray of drinks and or food.
Motion Parameters
Have the ability to climb stairs frequently throughout the shift.
The job may require squatting, kneeling, standing & walking
Must be confident in carrying a tray.
Will be required to work at a high output fast paced service bar.
Have a sense of urgency
Vision and Hearing Requirements
Will be required to read food and beverage orders.
Will be required to communicate with colleagues so an efficient service can run.
Will be required to operate the point of sale system.
Psychological Demands
Will be required to lead a shift. e.g making sure all duties are completed and signed off on.
Have a strong mindset. The job can be challenging at times.
Able to focus while having other tasks to-do.
