Position Overview We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team. As a Dishwasher at House of Dawn, you play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen. Your responsibility extends beyond washing dishes — you help uphold the standards that allow the culinary team to operate at the highest level. Key Responsibilities Wash and sanitize all kitchenware, cookware, utensils, and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing station and overall kitchen sanitation areas, including floors, garbage stations, and storage shelves. Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries, including storing ingredients and supplies properly. Empty garbage and recycling regularly and ensure bins are clean and odor-free. Support kitchen team by restocking clean dishes, cookware, and prep tools where needed. Clean and maintain dishwashing machine and notify supervisor of any maintenance issues. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or restaurant environment preferred, but not required. Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and consistently in a fast-paced setting. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and personal hygiene. Willingness to take direction, assist where needed, and be a team player. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
