The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Server Assistant to join our fine dining team. As a Server Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our servers and ensuring our guests receive seamless and impeccable service from the moment they step through our doors. What You'll Do: Table Maintenance: Assist servers with setting and clearing tables efficiently and discreetly. This includes resetting tables with proper linens, silverware, and glassware. Beverage Service: Refill water glasses, deliver bread and butter, and assist with beverage service as needed. Guest Assistance: Anticipate guest needs and proactively respond to requests, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. Food Delivery: Run food from the kitchen to the dining room, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to the correct tables. Team Collaboration: Work closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and synchronized dining flow. Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and back-of-house areas. Menu Knowledge: Develop a basic understanding of our menu offerings to assist guests and answer questions as needed. What You'll Bring: Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant environment is preferred. Fine dining experience is a plus. Professionalism: A polished appearance and a professional, positive attitude. Work Ethic: Strong work ethic with the ability to work effectively in a demanding environment. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service. Team Player: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Communication: Strong verbal communication skills. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
