We’re a high-energy bar in downtown Toronto, known for sports,, themed events, and unforgettable guest experiences. We’re growing fast and are looking for a driven, well-connected Entertainment Manager to take our events to the next level.
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and well-connected Entertainment Manager to oversee talent booking and event planning at our venue. You’ll be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of entertainment—from DJs and live bands to comedians and themed acts—ensuring our bar remains a go-to nightlife destination.
Key Responsibilities:
Book, schedule, and manage talent for live performances and events.
Maintain and grow relationships with performers, agents, and entertainment providers.
Negotiate contracts and fees with artists and reps.
Collaborate with marketing to promote events effectively.
Manage entertainment budgets.
Maintain an organized calendar of events and bookings.
Ensure talent and event logistics are smooth from setup to breakdown.
Create and maintain a portfolio of all past and upcoming events.
Provide on-site support during events when needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in talent booking or entertainment management.
Demonstrated portfolio of successful events.
Deep knowledge of the nightlife or live entertainment industry.
Strong network of artist and talent contacts.
Skilled negotiator with a good understanding of entertainment contracts.
Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments.
Compensation:
Salary range - $50,000 to $55,000 a year, plus commission on all events successfully executed.
