The Pint Public house is looking for 2 Line Cooks who are able to work in busy heavy volume restaurant, The candidate should have the right attitude and be an asset to the team.

Title: Line Cook 

Job Location: 277 Front Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 2X4 

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 / hour 

Vacancies: 2 

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time, 40 hours / week

Start date As soon as possible Job requirements 

Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Restaurant Duties: 

• Memorizing recipes, policies, procedures, and standard portion sizes
• Preparing ingredients and components of each recipe on the restaurant’s menu
• Maintaining freshness of product and rotating old product out
• Working with a team of Cooks to handle varying levels of activity
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe workspace at all times to avoid contamination
• Being aware of and following all kitchen health and safety regulations and guidelines

Qualification/Requirements

• Professional and responsible conduct
• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Teamwork skills
• Good verbal communication skills
• Organizational Skills 
• Developing and executing new fusion dishes combining Canadian and Asian flavors
• Prior experience in cooking fusion cuisine, particularly Canadian-Asian fusion
• Creativity and adaptability in contributing to new menu development
