General Manager’s at Freehouse embody this spirit and act as the connective thread between front of house and back of house so that the guest experience is effortless. They are responsible for the overall health of the business including hiring, training and retaining a team of people who are passionate about service.
Our GM’s are supported by a veteran team of Director’s, each responsible for a unique piece of the business. Director’s work with and develop GM’s with the aim of setting and achieving business goals, making space for personal growth, and energizing staff.
Responsibilities
The General Manager directly contributes to the overall success of the business and its people. You will be responsible for attracting, retaining and developing a team that delivers on our mission to entertain the promise of effortless hospitality. You will drive the business processes, community engagement, and strategic planning that make your location a profitable, sought after brand.

You will manage the business with pride, empathy, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial attitude in an effort to fully realize its potential as well as the personal and professional potential of its people.
Requirements
1-3+ years of management experience
Appropriate licenses and/or certifications
Self-evident team player and a proven ability to coach, develop and inspire others
A passion for service, empathy for the well-being of others, and an appetite to energize social and cultural connections
Ability to manage budgets, forecasts and business processes
Confidence in upholding high standards in product, space, profit and experience
