We are looking for a Bartender for a well-established Italian restaurant, located in a busy downtown location for 2 shifts per week.

You need to be quick on your feet and have a polite and friendly attitude. Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Inventory

Requirements and skills

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Bartender
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Serving experience
• Serve it Right Certificate
• Available 2 shifts per week on weekends
• Possibility to get more shifts during summer.
