Job Description

Position: Host / Hostess - Le Crocodile Restaurant by Rob Feenie

We are seeking a polished, highly organized Host / Hostess to manage the flow of our reservation-driven fine-dining restaurant. This role is essential in orchestrating seating, pacing, and guest arrival with warm welcoming precision, ensuring a seamless dining room from first greeting through final departure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume reservaiton book with accuracy, foresight, and attention to detail
  • Control seating flow and table pacing to support multi-course fine-dining service
  • Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and confident composure
  • Maintain real-time awareness of table status, guest arrival patterns, and service timing
  • Communicate clearly with management and service teams to align expectations and pacing
  • Handle special requests, VIP notes, and guest preferences with discretion
  • Uphold immaculate standards at the host stand and entryway

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in fine dining, reservation-driven environments preferred. 
  • Strong commond of OpenTable reservation systems and seating strategies. Minimum two years working with OpenTable is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and calm decisoin-making under pressure
  • Refined communication style and polished presence 
  • Ability to anticipate challenges and adjust pacing proactively
  • Availablity for evenings, weekends, and holidays
