La Taqueria North Vancouver (Welch Street) is hiring a Kitchen Manager / Chef!

Position Overview:

The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for the performance and results of everyone and every aspect of the BOH business. With the guest experience as the highest priority, every decision, every element of their routine, and every result they target is in an effort to deliver an incredible product to our customer. Through their leadership, and training they produce consistent results that match the company’s standards and expectations for the customers, the staff and the shareholders.

The Kitchen Supervisor must have flexible work hours and be - observing, auditing, leading and coaching the staff to achieve our standards for sales & service.


- 2+ years working as a Kitchen Supervisor / Kitchen Manager
- Knowledge of Mexican cuisine is an asset
- Able to work in a fast paced environment, is proactive and eager to learn
- Passionate and dedicated to customer service
- Availability to work days, evening and weekends
- Food handling certification

We make our tacos from traditional recipes with local, organic and sustainable products, when possible. Our menu offers different types of fillings which can be served as a Taco (soft tortilla, made locally & homemade style) or as a Quesadilla.

La Taqueria was born in 2009, through the idea of creating a taco stand, which resemble the taste and feel of street tacos around Mexico. These tacos are usually the best, a real Mexican tradition.
