You have exceptional time management, lead a healthy lifestyle outside of the kitchen and embrace Whistler as the best place in the world to live. You are a good teacher and coach and able to fortify the teamwork within the kitchen and maintain the positive ethos Alta Bistro has developed. Must have: - 7 to 10 years cooking experience. - At least 4 years of cooking experience in management. - Formal training in culinary arts and Red Seal is preferred. - Ability to bring new revenue streams, reinforce current revenue streams and profitability. - Great communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. - Strong computer skills for inventory management (excel), strong English writing skills (MS word) menu writing, familiar with live scheduling software (Homebase). - Impeccable hygiene, and VCH Food Safety certified. - Negotiable pay with tips, benefits and perks.
