Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll craft exquisite desserts—from traditional recipes to modern plated desserts—that perfectly complement our celebrated steak menu. Key Responsibilities:
· Quality Control: Maintain high standards in taste, texture, and visual presentation for every dessert served.
· Inventory & Ingredient Management: Monitor inventory levels and manage supplies efficiently to reduce waste.
· Food Safety & Sanitation: Adhere strictly to food industry regulations and maintain an immaculate work environment.
· Team Collaboration: Work effectively both independently and within a team to ensure seamless kitchen operations during service hours.
Qualifications:
· Experience: 2 or more years of experience as a pastry cook, baker, or in a similar role.
· Communication: Excellent communication skills for seamless coordination with kitchen staff and management.
· Work Ethic: Hardworking, with a demonstrated dedication and passion for the culinary craft.
· Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and consistency in every dessert crafted.
· Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of food industry regulations and safety standards.
· Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long hours and lift up to 20kgs.
· Availability: Willingness to work mornings and weekends, ensuring peak readiness during service times.
· Teamwork: Capable of working both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
