AURORA Abbotsford is a roastery and coffee shop, opening its first (hopefully not the last) location in the heart of Historic Downtown Abbotsford. Our main goal is to serve people with healthy and delicious foods and drinks.
We put a lot of work into opening this shop and we want to continue putting the same effort into making it special, unique and innovative.
Now, we are looking for responsible, passionate about coffee and just fun people to join our small team.
If you want to learn, or learn more about specialty coffee, coffee roasting and how to start enjoying baking in the early morning, you’ve found the right place.

Qualifications:
• Education: no degree, certificate or diploma
• Experience: will train
Desirable qualifications:
• Punctual and reliable team player
• Passion for working with people
• Or at least show up on the shift in a decent mood
Key responsibilities:
· Serve delicious coffee and pastry
· Focus on quality and food preparation standards
· Maintain our equipment and appliances and a clean working area
· Open and close the shop
· Sweep, mop, wash and polish floor
· Providing exceptional customer experience
· Describe menu items to customers, suggest products that might appeal to them, ability to provide information about coffees and preparation methods
· Process cash register payments by cash, debit or credit card and gift card
· Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
Born out of a deep passion, both for people and coffee, aurora is a small batch roastery based out of the Fraser Valley, abbotsford bc.
