Byblos is currently looking for an experienced Host to join our Front of House team! We are looking for someone with Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday availability.
Byblos brings the exciting flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean to Toronto diners in a progressively designed space. The menu offers creative dishes showcasing the regionally-specific spices and flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean seaboard.
Reporting to the Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for creating a positive guest experience that begins with a proper greeting to influence the guest’s first impression. You are a critical member of the team and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive first and last impression.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
-Minimum 1-year experience as a host in a premium environment
-Able to work in a fast-paced environment
-A strong sense of urgency to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
-Excellent verbal communication skills
-Ability to stand for long periods of time
-Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
-Excellent organization and time management skills
-Proactive anticipating guest needs
-Have high attention to detail
-Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
-Able to work under pressure
